We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in AI/ML to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the state-of-the-art Natural Language Processing (NLP) models to enhance and support our suite of products and services. You will work closely with a team of domain experts, data analysts, and software developers to develop innovative solutions that can help businesses prepare for the effects of climate change.
Key Tasks and Accountability:
- Strong Foundations on the conceptual & implementation aspects of machine & deep learning models.
- Experience on using the LLMs, Hugging Face, LangChain, API Design.
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in NLP and ML to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of technology.
- Programming Language Experience in Python.
- Work closely with domain experts to understand the latest research findings and incorporate them into models.
- Collaborate with software developers to create user-friendly interfaces and tools that can be used to visualize and analyze climate scenarios.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI/ML and climate science, and explore new opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Educational & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, statistics, or Mathematics
- Strong background in AI/ML, with experience developing and implementing models in Python, R, or similar languages
- Experience working with large datasets and data processing tools, such as SQL, Hadoop, or Spark
- Familiarity with climate science and related disciplines, such as meteorology, oceanography.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for environmental sustainability and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
